SAVE THE FLAMINGO
 
The flamingos of Caribbean live in tropical areas of the Yucatan peninsula.
The flamingos have long neck and legs and short tail. Their plumage is pink and red.
The flamingo measureds 1.20m or 1.40m high and weights 2.8kg. They eat seaweed, insects and shrimps.

The flamingos need conditions appropriate to survive.
But now the flamingo is in danger. Their habitat is deteriorating and the flamingo numbers are decreasing dramatically.
Conservation measures
*we need to protect essential of flamingo habitats.

 ‘’THE DIABETES IN MEXICO’’

The diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases, is characterized by increased levels of blood glucose, because the body does not produce enough insulin.
The diabetes type one starts in the childhood or adolescence.
The diabetes type two is more common in people of forty years old because the pancreas don't produce sufficient insulin.
The diabetes is a disease that can be hereditary.
The obesity and the consumption excessive of greases are a cause of the diabetes type two.
Some of the symptoms are thirst, constant hungry and an excessive production of urine.
In the diabetes type Uno is can produce a significant loss of weight.
Some consequences are increase weight, an ulcer, high blood pressure and blindness.
The diabetes affect nowadays to more of 285 million people in the world.
The health national poll 2000 revealed that about 3.6 million of Mexican older of 20years old suffer diabetes type two.

I do exercise three times a week and drink two liters of water every day.
I usually eat five times a day; take a healthy breakfast with fresh fruits. I eat fresh fruits three times a day every day. I sometimes eat junk food but five times a week eat vegetables.
